What This Page Controls

The Branding page appears in the menu only for Client Admins. It controls your Client’s name,
logo and colors in two places:

  • the dashboard’s own sidebar, for every member of your Client;
  • your signs’ idle page (shown when no event controls a sign) and the “Waiting for Livestream” page
the Livestream display shows when nothing is live (see
    Clips, Uploads and Signage).

It does not touch clip videos. If you’re looking for pre-roll/post-roll video branding on published
clips, see below.

Setting Your Branding

As a Client Admin, open Branding in the dashboard. There are four fields, with a live preview of
the sidebar next to the form:

  • Brand Name — text, displayed in the sidebar header. Defaults to “CHS Streaming Services” in
the dashboard if left blank; the sign pages fall back to your Client’s name.
  • Logo URL — a URL to an already-hosted image, not a file upload. Displayed above the brand name
in the sidebar and on the sign pages; leave blank to show text only.
  • Accent Color — a color picker plus a 6-digit hex text field (default #cba6f7). Used for
active nav links, brand text, and highlights.
  • Sidebar Color — a color picker plus a 6-digit hex text field (default #1e1e2e). Used for the
sidebar background and the sign pages’ background; the text color on top of it is computed
    automatically for contrast.

Click Save, which is disabled until you’ve changed something; a “Saved successfully” message
confirms it. An invalid hex value (not exactly # followed by 6 hex digits) is silently cleared,
falling back to the default color, rather than blocking Save — if a color doesn’t look right after
saving, re-check the hex field.

Pre-Roll and Post-Roll Video (Not Here)

Pre-roll and post-roll video branding on published clips are not configured from this page, and
a Client Admin can’t upload either one directly:

  • Pre-roll video (720p and 1080p, max 5 seconds each, up to 100 MB) is uploaded per-Client by a
system admin. Once uploaded, a Client Admin can turn it on or off for an individual event using the
“Apply pre-roll branding video to clips from this event” checkbox on that event’s Basics tab —
but only if a pre-roll asset already exists for your Client (the checkbox doesn’t appear
otherwise). The checkbox stays editable while the event is live. Users and Readonly members see it
dimmed, with ”🔒 Needs Client Admin” under the Basics title. See
    Event Configuration Reference.
  • Post-roll video is a single platform-wide asset a system admin uploads once (also 720p/1080p,
up to 100 MB); it applies automatically to every clip on every Client with no per-event or
    per-Client toggle.
